Looking good and practicality don't usually go hand in hand in the fashion stakes. In winter, scantily-clad Melbourneans brave the freezing cold in order to frolic in rooftop beer gardens in itsy bitsy dresses, cropped tees and high waisted shorts. At the Spring Racing Carnival, we put on our highest, most jaw-dropping heels whilst inevitably enduring countless blisters and bruises encumbered by our battered feet after standing up all day. Yes, one of the hottest items in wrist-wear in recent months is the chunky, boyfriend watch.
